Apple Cider Doughnuts

Mmmm...my first attempt at making homemade doughnuts (recipe here) was a delicious success. Imagine the astonishment on my boy's faces when I told them Dunkin' Donuts was NOT the only place to buy doughnuts - we can make them at home! They've been asking to make doughnuts for several weeks now. We worked together adding and mixing ingredients as well as cutting out the doughnuts. But I think the boys enjoyed eating them even more!!!

I don't think I want to actually know how many doughnuts each of us ate today...bad, bad, bad...but yum, yum, yum!
