Imagine Not Homeschooling

Imagine if we weren't homeschooling. Think about it: Elijah and Luke gone most of the day; separated from the little ones; likely desiring to spend more time with school buddies than younger siblings on days they weren't required to be at school. Imagine that I could not have captured this picture during the middle of the morning. That makes my heart break.

But this picture makes my heart melt. And it happens all. the. time. Without my coersion.

Now just for honesty's sake, the children were engrossed with the TV, not some spectacular intellectual seminar by moi during the middle of the morning. We are homeschoolers and we like TV. Gasp! Anyhow, the video was Letter Factory by Leap Frog. I do have to mention that Isaac is learning his letters and sounds very quickly and Sadie-girl claps and says, "Yay...Ah, Buh, Buh!" when I turn it on. That totally counts as preschool.

This sacred mid-morning break is called, "Mama Does Her Hair and Make-Up TV time."

I'm serious.

It's on my schedule.

Joke.

Not really.

We love the letter factory! I had been trying to teach Nate his letter sounds and a friend told me about it. It is great!

Aww I love it!! I'm having the hardest time finding a good enough (for me) preschool for Avery, I wish I had the time, energy, and patience to homeschool, can I send my girls to your house?? Keep on momma! PS you're hilarious!
