Suddenly, without warning, at the prompting of his heroes Elijah and Luke, Isaac decided that he wanted to sleep in his "bee-boi bed." The single bed has been a resident in his room from the beginning, but used mostly for bedtime reading and occasional guests.
Bedtime came. No pomp and circumstance. No changing his mind. No extended cuddling as would have been routine for sleeping in the crib. A simple warning that if he got out of bed, he be sent back to the crib. 'Kay. G'nigh mama. Wuv you, tuuu. Asleep in minutes. All night long.
Awake at 6:30am. Normal. Downstairs at 7:00am. Grinnin'. Saunterin'. Bee-Boi. Definitely Bee-Boi.
