If you've been keeping up with my recent posts, you're well aware that I'm in the midst of learning how to use my camera in manual shooting mode. When I starting taking those first few pictures back in August after purchasing my camera, I was struck by one main thought...
This is not a new revelation to the scientific world, I'm sure! My theory is that camera inventors used ideas from how our eye was designed by our Creator God and applied those abilities to cameras. I really should look this up to learn the similarities between how our eyes work and how a camera works...(however, it is doubtful that the scientific world would credit God with any design...)
Life unimportant, unnecessary would blur out...
"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

That comparison of the lens and function of a camera to how God created our eyes to 'see' does indeed transpose to our Spirit that only functions as God designed when we allow Him to indwell and fill us so that we 'see Spiritually' and then He does His work through us! Our Spirit is the vessel He uses to represent all that He is to those who are watching us!
I really enjoyed the pictures of Mike in this post. What a guy!
The one with Sadie (not in pink) is adorable! What a cute froggie, too.
THAT IS A COOL PICTURE OF THE FROG. I really like how the frog's scales are right there with the soft hair. The comparison is quite extraordinary. It is cooler than cool. Your words and thoughts are beautiful. LOVE this post!!! Linda
I am from the SnapShop class - your pictures look great, and it is a great comparison to the way God created us to see. Thanks for sharing. I have posted some pictures of my learning on my blog as well, if you want to check them out.
I'm really enjoying the design and layout of your website. It's a very easy on the
eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often.
Did you hire out a developer to create your theme?
Superb work!
